Who We Are
Our team, the TESLAS, encourages diversity and bring fresh and new ideas to our team. We feel the necessity to draw in students who have not been involved in the STEM fields because of the benefits from participating in real life STEM situations. The T.E.S.L.A.S. are hoping to inspire older FLL members and other 7-12th graders into join this FIRST activity.
Our team consists of 5 team members, 2 coaches, and 1 mentor. We are all students from the Dunlap area, and we are hoping to bring more people into this program. We divide into three subgroups: programming, robot building, and outreach. At the end of the day, we meet up and discuss the progress we made. We do Core Value exercises to utilize and practice teamwork skills. These bonds help us organize and define us as the T.E.S.L.A.S.
